Re: what i wouldn't give
Sat, June 24, 2006 - 5:42 AMthe whole process of opening the barrel and then the plastic takes too long. i end up leaving it open and letting them get stale before they're done. -

Sat, June 24, 2006 - 10:57 AMThe whole delayed process of opening the barrel does it for me. Ah and then the first one out of the barrel. Funny how chips can spark conversation.

Mon, June 26, 2006 - 6:43 AMyou can get tastykakes on line too . THey are a bit pricey though. We have cheese steak shops here in California that ship in amaroso rolls from philly and tastykakes too.
Now me I miss old forge style pizza. Colarusso's, gabellos , arcaros, revellos I would take anyone of them . I think Salerno's ships .
Oh yea and 4C green tea they dont have distribution on the west coast
and thanks now you have me wanting middleswarth BBQ chips

Re: what i wouldn't give
Mon, June 26, 2006 - 8:35 AMBest PA treats have to be the Amish tasties. I love coming back to visit and picking up a load of whoopie pies and fresh watermelon to bring home. And Zerbie's chips are definitely the best...though Middleswarth BBQ chip barrels can't be beat when you're painting a house or enduring an extremely wet greeter shift at PDF...
You've gotta go to the small towns around you, though, and find all the weird little regional stuff wherever you are...NJ's generic 3 liter soda brand: FAYGO!!! You can't help but crack up laughing when you realizing you're quenching your thirst with a big gulp o' Faygo. -

Mon, June 26, 2006 - 9:38 AMThank goodness for the barrel during the extreme wet of PDF and now they have become a staple part of the greeter station.
